Maybelline Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder review

A few days ago Maybelline launched their Fit Me Loose Finishing Powder here in the Philippines with three shades. Fair, Medium, Deep. I bought mine a year ago when I saw my favorite beauty bloggers talking and raving about it in the U.S.

Originally, it has 8 shades. Fair (05), Fair Light (10), Light (15), Light Medium (20), Medium (25), Medium Deep (30), Deep (35) and Dark (40). I bought the shade Fair Light (10).

About Maybelline Loose Finishing Powder:

-Mineral-based formula.
-Helps control shine & smooth skin's texture.
-Lightweight translucent coverage.
-Fresh, natural look.
-Can be used alone or over foundation.

To use:

Apply with a brush. Swirl brush into powder, tap off excess and lightly dust over face.

My Review and Experience

I love that it is finely milled. It is easy to apply. And blends well on skin. I used it alone when I don't want to use my foundation. I sometimes applied it with damp sponge or with a brush when I'm in a hurry. It also brightens the under eye area. I even used for setting my face. I used it for baking the under eye area and the chin. And it is perfect. It's not cakey. It's so matte. And long-lasting. It doesn't have a scent. It is actually a dupe of Laura Mercier Translucent Powder.

Price:

Php 499.00

Pros:

-It is lightweight
-It has smooth skin texture.
-It can be used for baking the under eye area.
-Long-lasting.
-Blends well.

Cons:

-Packaging
-Price

Final Thoughts

I definitely recommend it. It is very comparable to high-end loose powders.

L'oreal Telescopic Carbon Black Mascara

I was never a fan of mascara because I have this thinking that if I put mascara on my lashes, it will only smudge as soon as I open my eyes. Whenever someone gifted me a mascara, I automatically give it to my sister or my mom. I hated mascara because of my monolid/hooded eyes.

So another friend gifted me a makeup with mascara.. It was L'oreal Telescopic Carbon Black. At that moment, I knew it was a sign that I should give mascara a try. Or mascara is begging me to try him. 😅 I opened the tube and found out that the wand is different than the other lash brushes that I know.

    Comb type wand

I gave it a try....

As soon as I put it on my lashes, it didn't smudged because it dries out quickly. It lengthens my lashes. Sometimes I forgot that I have it because I have a habit of wiping my eyes. And I am always thankful that it didn't even flake. It is not waterproof. And is fragrance free. It has 0.27 FL.OZ/ 8.0 ml.

I love it. Especially the wand because it really lengthens my lashes and dries out quickly. I will definitely going to buy it. And it is now my favorite mascara.

Makeup Revolution Face Squad Ignite Highlighter

Makeup Revolution is a UK drugstore makeup brand. It is known for having many dupes of a high-end makeup brands in an affordable price.

I bought this Revolution Face Squad "Ignite". It cost $15.00 at Ulta and contains 4 highlighting powders.

The shades: Golden Peach, Champagne Gold, Warm Amber and Golden Bronze.

What I love about Makeup Revolution, the brand is cruelty-free, it doesn't test their products and ingredients on animals and is vegan at an affordable prices.

This face squad reminds me of Glow Kits. It is very pigmented. The packaging is a rose gold foiled.

Pros:
-affordable
-pigmented
-cute packaging
-thick
-net wt. 0.49 oz/ 14g
-cruelty free
-vegan

Cons:
-difficult to buy
-no label of shades on packaging

Collective Sample Room Haul

Ever since I registered to SampleRoom, I was able to purchase many high end products which I wasnt even expecting to try because it is very expensive.

These past few months, I have been visiting Sample Room's page and my email for an update from them. And the moment I saw the new products update, I hurriedly visited their page to grab the latest products to try. Aghmm, not being OA but as you know, there are only few numbers available on that certain product. So here are the products I had purchased.

I even joined the instagram contest.

I also purchased the Charm Powder Brush. Which I really love the most. Of all the products I had purchased from Sample Room. The original price was Php 399.00.

I love this Charm Brush because it is very soft. It is easy to apply on my face. And I love the color. I used this brush as a blush brush. Although Sample Room said it is a powder brush.

And the last product I had purchased was The Vidal Sassoon.

The package came in this lovely paper bag with Sample Room sticker on it.

I love the smell of it. And the packaging of the shampoo and conditioner. But the original price is very expensive for me.

And I'm still looking forward to purchase more from Sample Room. If you want to try Sample Room, just comment below your email address and I'll refer you to Sample Room. Or email me at augre2920@yahoo.com.
